Beyond the Desk

Curiosity takes me places—outdoors, into new cities, and occasionally to a table covered in paint.

01

Outside, whenever I can.

I enjoy travelling and outdoor days. Camping and sports are part of life beyond the desk, too.

A winter afternoon
Clouds and wooded hills reflected in still water.
A quiet reflection
A wooded stream crossed by fallen branches.
A little further into the woods
Hands making an okay gesture and holding a branching piece of driftwood beside a river.
A moment by the water
A river with bare trees along the bank beneath a clear blue sky.
Sky over the river
A personal photograph on a gravel road between forested hills.
A pause on the trail
A personal photograph on a bridge with a river and autumn hills beyond.
Between seasons

Under northern lights
A sweep of green northern lights above a dark horizon.
The sky, after dark
A personal rafting-day photograph beside a mountain river.
Outdoor days

Out on the river
A blue raft carrying a group through foaming water.
A splash of adventure
02

A change of scene.

I like exploring new places and making room for time with other people.

Looking out over buildings and a pedestrian street from a balcony.
A different view
A personal photograph with a broad waterfall and mist in the background.
Beside the falls
A group photograph on a city street at night, with illuminated buildings behind.
City lights
People gathered around a long table in a bright restaurant.
Good company
03

Room to make things. And switch off.

I enjoy painting, gaming and everyday moments away from work. Some days call for a change of pace.
